After collecting post - had recieved 3 letters from Discovery Threatening to Blacklist me as I apparently owed Discovery money after changing medical Aids.
To mention- not one phone call or email, but this was apparently urgent.
I knew this was not the case as I barely used my medical aid and was on one of the best plans- I however opted to pay to avoid the risk of being blacklisted.
After calling, the consultant advised me that I owed no funds and Discovery in fact owed me. She could not assist me and I had to e mail some debt department.
After about 6 emails and no response in a week, I eventually got a mail saying - please ignore the letters they were sent in error.
I am disgusted that I can be threatened like this, the amount of effort to try and resolve this - and funny how when Discovery thinks they are owed money I receive 3 letters- when its tunred around I get no response.
I dont know who you think you are.
So glad I switched Medical Aids.
