After having been on Discovery Health for over 10 years and always receiving exceptional service, albeit pricey, I cancelled my Medical Aid today with great regret. I will be unemployed for the next 12 months due to taking up full time studies and wanted options to downgrade my account. The initial consultants assisted me with ease and were extremely helpful and informative. When I had to speak to the very last consultant/Financial Advisor, Ahren Lewis, I just needed confirmation as to time frames and non-deduction which was not in line with which I was told earlier. This frustrated me and I tried explaining to him that what he was telling me was different to that of previous consultants. He proceeded to talk over me, even after I reminded him that I was the client. I was trying to explain my frustrations and instead of trying to calm me down and he continued talking over me again. This exasperated the issue which has just lead me to cancel Med Aid insurance with your company after so many years of great service. It is so sad that all it took was an insensitive person with no client services to damage such a relationship. Utterly disappointed! Ref #: 2694333
