I have been with Discovery health for the past 10 years. 3 months ago my wife and I decided to change medical aids as Discovery is too expensive. We were told that we have to pay in, be charged a monthly payment and we we had no benefits from Discovery since we made the decision to change within 2 months. I have a baby boy and it felt after all these years that Discovery could not wait to get rid of us as customers. After asking the consultant that he is basically telling me that we cant get sick for 2 months otherwise we will have to pay out of our own pocket. So this month was our last month even though we had to pay our full payment. I am just disappointed with their attitude to get rid of us so quickly.
