My wife gave birth on the 11/10/2013. She wanted to try and give birth naturally and subsequently got an epidural at about 16:00 from an anaesthetist. At about 20:00 the gynaecologist decided to do an emergency cesarean section and another anaesthetist had to be called out. This caused Momentum to receive two bills on the same date and they see this as a duplication. I have spoken to various people at their customer care call centre and no one seems capable of resolving payment for the anaesthetist. I emailed them a letter from the gynaecologist on the 21/01/2014 to explain what happened. I received an email to state that they received the claim but no reference number to follow up on. I have had to call them on several occasions to explain the predicament. No one can give me an honest answer or resolve the problem. I am getting letters of final demand from the anaesthetist's office. Someone please help.
