I am so fed up with Discovery! My husband's doctor has requested he be admitted on 15th Jan. It is now the 27 Jan and he still hasn't gotten feedback from Discovery. I have been calling almost everyday only to keep hearing there isn't any feedback. On 15 Jan i spoke to Vinolia, she said we have to wait 48 hours to get a reply. On 17 Jan, I spoke to Xavier, Ilam and Theresa. It was understood they were waiting for the PMA form from the doctor. On 23 Jan, the form was sent, but Discovery hadn't received it. Spoke to Rivika, Mohammed and Antonio. On 24 Jan, spoke to Zeiba, Hesma and Razia. The form was received and i was told it will take 8 hrs to process. Today I call and spoke to Peter, he says that it takes 2-3 working days to process. Someone could DIE in all this time waiting for authorisation from Discovery. This is really disappointing as I am paying a lot of money to Discovery. If this is the case, then i will move to another medical scheme! You need to have a dedicated person working on cases so that the process is faster. This is actually worse than the provincial hospitals!!! Please can someone escalat this or do SOMETHING!!! I cannot be calling you all the time!!!
