No payment after authorisation

Discovery has really pulled a fast one on me. I recently had an emergency C-section delivery of our daughter at 34 weeks. All prior visits to my gynae were paid for by Discovery. We were given a baby hamper by Discovery (thank you again). During this time Discovery were fully aware that I am a pregnant member. Authorisation (14528130) was given by Discovery. As per their benefits for pregnancy, Discovery states " Where we confirm cover, we will give you an authorisation number to use when booking your bed at the hospital." Unfortunately the hospital, Linkwood Hospital, that we had booked our bed at was full on the day that I had to have an emergency C-section. I was then transported to Park Lane by ambulance. I was discharged on 31 December 2012. Now Discovery tell me they are not honouring their commitment to pay as they initially agreed to and that I should pay my own hospital bills.
