They just won't talk to anyone - nor will they pay

17/09/13 I was diagnosed with cataracts which is a PMB.
Claim was submitted and bounced back to optician asking that a different form be completed. This was done and since then nothing from Discovery.

Multiple phone calls have most recently come up with the brilliant claim by Discovery that the form was incorrectly completed because the motivation was incomplete.

I asked what should have been in the motivation and was told 'cataracts', just the same as the diagnosis.

I asked why they hadn't told either my optician or myself about this when they apparently 'launched an investigation' and were informed by their own people of this on 10/12/13.

I have notes of calls made, the most recent being contact made with supervisor Louise Grobbelar who promised to call back on Monday 06/01/14, even gave us her direct line which only ever goes to voice mail. No call has been received and no payment made.

Really such bad service and delaying tactics are not acceptable in today's economy when small service providers need to be paid promptly.

The above tail does not begin to scratch the surface of the total frustration in trying to deal with these people.
