2 weeks to update bankin details, & stil not done

I have been to a chiro on the 14th of Nov. I paid them and the claim was submitted to medical aid. I received confirmation that the refund would be paid to me. I checked the bank details and they had my old account details. I asked them to update with my new bank details before the refund was paid. They requested details (confirmation letter from bank and ID), which I sent the same day (27th of November). Since then, my banking details has still not been updated. I called the call centre on Monday 9 Dec, and was told the change was still pending. She told me it should be updated that same day. Today, I phoned and the bank details has still not been updated. It's still in a pending status. So I'm still not able to get my refund. When will I get my refund?! Why does it have to take 2 weeks just to change banking details? Can this please be resolved ASAP???
