At the end of Oct 2013, I came to realise that I was 1 visit short of the requirement to keep my Vitality Gym membership active. I emailed Discovery requesting leniency as at the end of Oct 2012 I had herniated a disc in my back. They replied to my email asking me to provide medical certificates stating the months which it was medically unadvisable for me to train

.I contacted and received medical certificates from the doctor and physio who were treating me at the time of my injury. The certificates stated that it was medically unadvisable for me to return to training before Feb 2013.

It took 9 days for Discovery to reply to my email containing the medical certificate, only for them to advise me that they would not be reinstating my membership, as I had only suffered the injury at the end of Oct 2013, which meant I had more than enough time to fulfill my obligation. This infuriated me, the complete lack of effort they took to even read the certificates provided
