Received an sms from Lancet on 8th November stating that I owe them R195.50 and that I must settle immediately to avoid being handed over.. I paid this amount at their laboratory on 1st November and received a call from them an hour later whereby the caller asked when I was going to pay the account! I informed the caller that the account had indeed been paid and quoted the Lancet receipt number, Today, 8th November, I receive an sms stating that the amount hasn't been paid and of course the threat of being handed over. After calling their queries number, the consultant confirms that the amount hasn't been paid. I have the original receipt from Lancet confirming receipt of the full amount, have the bank sms confirming payment and my bank informs me that the amount was banked by Lancet on 5th November!
