Lancet not sending accounts

Lancet handed me over without posting/e-mailing a single account and expect me to pay for legal costs.
After a call from them to inform me of an outstanding account with amount, banking details and reference nr in June I requested them to e-mail me the account and a week later paid the account without receiving the account. Two weeks ago I received a sms from Lancet for an outstanding amount which was exactly the same as the amount I paid via EFT in June. I e-mailed Lancet to request the account and made it clear that I will not pay it until I received the account. Today I received a call from their lawyers with regards to this account. I forwarded the e-mail sent to Lancet 2 weeks ago and also one to them that I refuse to pay the account until reception of a statement with details of what the outstanding account is for.
