I am bursting with anger at this moment. I have received an sms from 'nowhere' (as nobody can tell me who sent the sms) saying that I've been handed over to ITC due to an account not being paid by my medical aid. I have been struggling with Lancet and Medihelp to sort out an account. In the first place the doctors reference number was sent in as the wrong number. I have spoken to Lancet numerous times to sort that out, but according to Medihelp it was only settled a moment ago.
I have now gone and paid the account just minutes ago, just to find out from my medical aid that they are paying the account this weekend.
When I spoke to the person at Lancet she said that I have to call ITC as they have sent me the sms before (Lancet) actually asked me to be handed over to them as the account is still with Lancet. Did Lancet send me that sms just to scare me into paying the account?? I demand some answers, this is unacceptable!!
