I submitted a claim for a medical expense, which was partly paid. I was incorrectly advised by the call centre for the reason for the shortpayment. They made me run around from the hospital to the various doctors for paperwork and information they did not require under the pretense that they would settle the claim. After 7 months, I was eventually told... OOPS, we wasted your time (being sarcastic here). In the time that Momentum has dragged me along, I could have settled the claim in portions and would have received a settlement discount. They acknowledge they gave me misinformation, but refuse to accept responsibility.
Wasted my time and money. Now they want to go by the book. What about customer service. I have moved my medical aid and considering moving my poilicies as well.
