On 19/10/2013 I went to Woodlands Optometrist for new prescription spectacles. The lady on duty was very friendly and helpful. Frames was selected and I was notified it will take 5 - 7 working days. 5 - 7 working days came and gone. I phoned in on 30/10/2013 only to be told the laboratory does not have stock on single vision lenses and they cannot tell me when they will have stock. 04/11/2013 I phone again and was told by receptionist that she will phone me back in 1 minute. I am still waiting for the response. I phoned the main branch in phalaborwa and was advise the owner is not in today. she will take a message and have him phone me. Couple of minutes later the lady at phalaborwa branch phones me to enquire where I have obtained their number. if I new this I would have gone to Mellins as they carry designer frames and they are not having any problems with their spectacles. I would not advise Woodlands Optometrist to any person due to lack of communication.
