I am a member of bankmed and is registered on their "Baby and Me" program. For some reason all my antenal visits gets paid from my savings. It costs me to contact them each time my claim is submitted and they need to reverse and reprocess. I contacted them onTuesday to query my latest account and they could not assist me, took a message and said they will phone me back. It is Thursday and no one has contacted me. Also according to the PMB code of conduct dated 31/07/2010, it clearly states that PMB should NOT be paid from a members savings. The diagnosis on my claims for Doctor Patel is Z34.8 which is a PMB. I expect all claims for Dr Patel to be corrected and paid from my insured benefit in full as a PMB. I also need you to provide me with a reconcilliation of all claims paid for Dr Patel for 2013.(Please dont send me a statement, I need a recon on excel reflecting what was paid from which benefit and why) Should this matter not be resolved, I will log a complaint with the Council of Medical Schemes.
