I am a member of the Baby and Me program with Bankmed and I was advised that one of the benefits of this membership was that 5 of my visits to the gynaecologist will be paid from my insured benefit. To date, I have submitted 3 claims back dating to November 2012 but I have not received any feedback from Bankmed. I have followed up with several consultants at the Bankmed call centre and the response I get is that the claims will be processed, there is a delay due to a backlog.
On thursday last week (28 February 2013 I insisted on speaking to someone more senior and I spoke to Bongiwe a Team Leader who promised to investigate and give me feedback by the following day (Friday 01 March 2013). I am still waiting for Bongiwe's call as of today. This is needless to say all the other consultants I have spoken to have not been able to resolve my problem. All I get are promises and more promises.
