I was diagnosed with hertail hernia in 2008 and have been on medication for the last 4 yours. My condition has not improved to this day and my doctor finally recommended a nisses operation to repair the hernia. Bestmed however think they know best and ignored the doctor's recommendation for an operation. Bestmed refused to pay for an operation and stated that i need to be on PPI treatment for 6 more month even though that treatment wont fix the hernia, and they know that i have been on it for the past 4 years. I just want to warn the general public about BestMed dodgy funding guidelines and they willingness to override doctor's advise in order to ensure their profitability at our health's expense. I have since appealed that decision with Bestmed.
