I was taken to Emergency Unit, Cape Gate Hosp on Sunday, 17 March. I was treated for vomiting. 2 Hours later I was discharge. 2 mnths after I settled my acc. I got a call from Dr Sareli rooms that I owe them money. On contacting the hosp I was assured that I have no outstanding acc. Again I got a threatening call from Dr Sareli about a acc.. I never received an acc. from them, they sent it straight to my Med. Aid, I had to request a invoice to see what its all about. According to them a woman physician from there practice treated me on the 17th. Neither me nor my fianc? who was with me, has any recollection of a woman dr treating me. I was treated by a male dr. Why would a Physician be called for vomiting? On my request for my Hosp record, there was no notes of a 2nd dr. They told my it is unusual for 2 different dr to treat vomiting. I informed the hospital about the discrepancy of 2 acc in May. I go to the hosp on weekly basis trying to solve the problem. It is now 5 mnths later and still Cape Gate Hosp cant give me any explanation, while dr Sarelis rooms is still threatening me with legal action.
IS THIS THE WAY CAPE GATE HOSP TREAT THEIR PATIENTS? CAN SOMEBODY PLS HELP
