Long Queues

I was pre-admitted at the Bay Hospital on 24 July 2013. This queue took approximately one hour.
I was told to come to the hospital at 06:30am on 1 Aug 2013, without eating or drinking from midnight.
I was there at 06:15, sat in the admissions lounge until 07:30am until called to the admissions desk. I was sent to the day ward. Shortly after I got to Day Ward, a nurse from the pathologists took blood from me. I then waited until 10am, to be taken to X-rays. I waited again, and was taken to be x-rayed. Sat for about an hour more, and was sent to an unltra-sound. Apparently, there was no jobcard for me... The nurse was friendly and courteous. She left me with a towel over my abdomin so the doctor could arrive. I waited for approximately 10/15 minutes (with a cold wet tummy) and wet nightie in a cold airconditioned room. Needless to say, I was freezingly uncomfortable. Around 12:30 i was sent up back to Day Ward, and taken to theater. Nil per mouth is frustrating enough, but to deal with cold and delays is ridiculous. The had to wait again for meds. I only ate around 1pm...
