I was admitted into Krugersdorp Private. It was the worst experience I have ever had. I will never in my life go back to this hospital!
I had stomach pain and was vomiting blood. The nurse asked me questions about medications I take etc. Then the doctor came and asked me the same questions. I remembered other things I had forgotten to tell the nurse, which I then told the doctor. When the doctor left, the nurse said to me "why didn't you tell me these things? You made me look bad in front of the doctor! " I said I had forgotten and then started crying as I was already in a bad state.
When they put me in the ward, they wanted to let me sleep there with my clothes on, that were covered in vomit. I had to ask for a gown!
They diagnosed me with a PID, which is a result of STD's, and the doctor told me in front of the people in the ward that I should be careful with whom I sleep. She then insinuated that my husband might be cheating on me. Never in my life have I been so humiliated!
In the end it turned out to be a stomach bug. They used over R14000 of my medical aid and savings account just to misdiagnose me and humiliate me!! This is a disgusting hospital with horrible staff!!!
