WAKE UP MILPARK HOSPITAL!! PATHETIC SERVICE!!!

I took my sister to Milpark Hospital this morning due to her having serious abdominal pains. It took almost 2 hours from the time that her doctor admitted her to the time that she was in the hospital bed. Firstly, it took 1.5 hours of sitting in the so-called "waiting area" to fill out forms and for a receptionist to finally give her the forms to go to the ward. Secondly, when we get to the ward, there is no bed ready. When a bed is available, I have to ask 3 nurses for pillows (which comes after 15 minutes). In all this time, note that my sister is in agonising pain and nobody bothers to help. During all this time, at least 3 nurses are in the same room attending to 1 patient who was also booked in at the same time who looked perfectly fine (meaning that it was evident that she was in no pain whatsoever). When a nurse eventually comes to look at her, she has been standing next to the bed (in pain) for at least a15 minutes. The bed that was given to my sister also looked like the sheets weren't even changed and there was a dirty bin next to the bed! Worst of all, is the fact that the entire ward had the most terrible odour of urine!!! How sanitary is a hospital if it stinks like that?
