TERRIBLE SERVICE FOR OVER R3000 PER MONTH

My father was the previous CEO and founder of a Multinational, JSE listed company. For years he had all his staff signed up for the Discovery Health medical aid. He himself has been on the top medical aid package for over 10 years.
Last month my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer. We applied to Discovery for terminal illness and palliative care cover at the beginning of July 2013. To this day, 30th July 2013, Discovery has STILL NOT activated the case so that my father can receive the treatment he needs. It took us over 3 days to receive just the oxygen.
DISCOVERY HAS REALLY SHOWN THEIR TRUE COLOURS, HAPPY TO TAKE MY FATHER'S MONEY EVERY MONTH BUT NOT HAPPY TO GIVE HIM THE SERVICE HE HAS PAID FOR.
Before Discovery responds by saying that the necessary forms haven't been handed in and certain documents are still outstanding and certain procedures have to be followed, I would like to say... we have filled in every form, sent in every motivation letter, had all the necessary blood tests, etc. etc. etc.
I don't need to tell you what a traumatic time this is for my father, my family and myself, the last thing we need is to have to sit on the phone with Discovery fighting!
