My dad was admitted to Mipark hospital via ambulance on 27/06/2013 for an emergency PMB condition. His back had given in completely and he was completely immobile, unable to even go to the loo. Being a chronic heartpatient on lasix, unable to use the lavatory, made the condition even more critical. His hospital stay lasted approximately two weeks yet many of the bills during the stay are coming back short paid. This is an irrefutable emergency PMB case which means all of the bills, during this hopitalisation period must be covered in full. Kindly reprocess all bills received and ensure payment is paid correctly as per the CMS ruling on PMB cases.

On 16/07/2013 my dad visited the eye clinic. With his severe diabetes he has extremely bad glaucoma, and is almost completely blind. This condition is yet another PMB. He was treated at the clinic on the day for his glaucoma and of the R2645.62 billed to us, only R271.87 was paid. The PMB ruling is clear. Kindly pay in full as per CMS ruling.
