I booked for two nights, from 31 May to 2 June 2013 at Hotel on the Park. On Saturday the 1st June afternoon we found a notice in our room that there is going to be a private function at the restaurant and therefore we must respect their space. We were not told that the party will last until 12pm. As I am writing here, there is so much noise from the restaurant that I cant hear myself think, I fail to understand a situation where in a hotel they would allow so much noise. If I had not paid already I would flatly refuse to pay the whole amount because now I will only sleep at 12pm and I have to drive back to Johannesburg without proper sleep. One does not expect such a service from a hotel The manager cannot be reached for my complaint because he has strict rules that he must never be called when he's not in duty. Tomorrow he is only coming back at about 12pm and I'll begone by then because I was going to give him a piece of my mind. I am so disappointed by this because it shows that he does not care about is guests after he got his payments.
