Bad service & attitude Protea hotel Port Elizabeth

I am terribly disappointed in the service an attitude of Protea hotel Marine Port Elizabeth. The Hotel dos'nt follow the Prokard perks clearly stipulated & initially refused to give me a room upgrade, I then presented them with proof & they grudgingly did an upgrade. I then tried to speak to the GM Danie Smit who also was confrontational & refused to listen & ended up in a shouting match which is unacceptable...

But it does not stop there after I was grudgingly given the upgrade & the argument with the GM who told me the Hotels profits has priority over clients comfort & room availiablity. Over the last 3 days the hotel has deliberately run there dryers & washing machines under my room to unsettle me, I asked them to stop this noise as I work night shifts & sleep the day but to no avail... I gave them the option of stopping the noise which is very loud or move me to a better room further away but they insisted on downgrading me to a smaller room to get me out of the upgraded room..

This is so blatant it's unbelieveable the noise started just after my confrontation with the GM to get me out of the upgraded room & unsettle me...

You come to relax at a hotel not be unsettled
