Poor admin leads to double deductions

I was an existing Prosano member until 31 December 2012. This is when Prosano was absorbed by Bonitas. Since then its been a constant struggle for me and my parents. Debit order deductions happen more then once and when you try to stop the payment your account gets suspended. I've also been charged for arrears on my account the the next day after joining Bonitas - even though my last Prosano statement showed a zero balance. Calling their call centre has absolutely no effect. Tickets that you log on their system get closed without any feedback. We have even tried using brokers to deal with Bonitas, but its just been 1 fight after the other. Thankfully I've not needed any serious medical attention since the beginning of the year so I cannot comment on their service in that regard. I will say this - their admin systems and call centre are terrible. If you have any other choice of medical aid, I'd give them a try first.
