I have been having problems trying to resolve unpaid accounts to my oncologist since October 2012. I have been given several references (Available if Required) and have been given the reasons as being outstanding approvals to incorrect codes. Recently i was threatened with legal action by the oncologist if my accounts were not resolved and paid. I once again contacted Discovery Health Accounts on the 3rd May 2013 and insisted that the matter be escalated to a supervisor or Manager. A Mr Dewald Wentzel contacted me and after many apologies advised me that he would resolve my problem within a couple of days. I advised him not to be hasty and we then mutually agreed, and i insisted he confirm by email which he did, that he resolve the matter by the 10th May. He promised me that he would give me feedback by that date. The 10th has come and gone and not a murmur from Discovery. I cant say that i expected any good timeous response from Discovery considering the poor service i have received to date.
