I have contacted Discovery Health numerous times requesting a debit order date change.
My request is quite simple, i would like to change my debit order date from the 1st of every month to the 10th of every month; BUT in every reply from Discovery Health they want to double debit me just to initiate this date change.
Their response is that they bill me in advance e.g. so if i pay my debit order on the 1st of November, it is payment for the current month (which will be for November) so my question is, how on earth is me changing my debit order date from the 1st to the 10th is not serving the same purpose?? Discovery Health wants to debit my account on the 1st and then again on the 10th just so that i can have my debit order go off on the 10th of every month going forward.
Whether i pay on the 1st or on the 10th it is still payment within November and they still want to double debit me!!! THIS IS DAYLIGHT!!!
I am not very please with this service from Discovery Health and this type of service is really making me question whether or not i want to renew my medical aid with them for 2014.
