Absence of spares is forcing me to get a New LG

I bought the TOP of the range LG washing machine from GAME. The one with the silent drum for washing and drying in one. It cost me R9700..
My washing Machine gave an AE code and i had to call out technician (R350) from LG.
Technician told me that my washing machine drum has a hole in it causing water to leak and my pump will probably give up in the next year. LG don't have spares for it and hence my washing machine that cost me R9700 and is only 3yrs old is now worth nothing. If i want another machine LG will give me a new version at a Fraction of the cost ( /- R3000). BUT why should i pay another /- R3000 for a machine that is only 3yrs old.
My options :1. Buy a newer version from them at a reduced cost or 2: Live without a washing machine. They are forcing my hand to buy another one because its not possible to live without it. Warranty on it is 2yrs but the thing breaks after 3 yrs and they stop selling spares so you have to take a new one from them and pay more money.
This is a rip off. i'm being penalized, when they actually sold me a lemon. I should not have had to pay ANYTHING for this or atleast just the price of a new drum motor if that.
