LG washing machine: No follow-up

My complaint on 22 Jan 2013 refers.( see below) LG customer services promised to contact me after the report i posted on Hello Peter. No one has contacted me yet! so disappointing. " The LG Direct drive 6kg washing machine continued to give me problems. A technician did arrive two weeks ago and said that the drum was separating and unfortunately repairs could not be undertaken. The washing machine will have to be returned to the supplier which in this case was the OK Furniture store in Pinetown. Apparently the initial model has been discontinued and those that are available are newer models that are just too expensive. Ok has given me options of buying other models and brands of washing machines however, not at the replacement value of the unit I bought (which was discounted to R2.099-00) but was valued to R2999-00 as per advert. At this point in time I am unable to afford buying another washing machine especially since it has been discontinued so quickly. That would be the most honorable thing to do."

Is LG customer services trying to look good by responding on Hello peter but in actual fact are doing nothing about following up???
