I purchased a Samsung Top Loader washing machine for my mother, she lives alone and only used the machine for 1 month when the drum broke loose inside the machine. Samsung collected the machine and repaired the drum but also had to do a drum rinse at a cost to us. We were told by samsung that you have to do a rinse every 5 washes with warm water yet the manual instructs you to do this only between 1 to 3 months after use and mentions nothing regarding water temperatures. If this is required then surely this should have been in the user manual? After we have spoken to the call centre they assured us to get back to us but for 3 weeks we have heard nothing from them. This is not what one expects from a company like Samsung, where we could have just gone for a cheaper machine if we wanted problems
