Wish I had rather just gone for the iPhone 5

I have been trying to put this on the Samsung website but after sitting waiting for something to happen for 30 minutes I am ready to bite someone. Kindly do NOT tell me to go to your Vodaworld store, as the people there can't even tell me what the product does, never mind offer support.
I am having three issues with this SIII phone I did not have with my iPhone and I wish I had never chosen the Samsung over the Apple. Apple was quick and synchronised everything efficiently.
1. Kies sync between my Galaxy Siii and my MS Outlook is irritatingly slow and gives repeat errors when it should take the most recent update from either phone or pc and use that. I haven't the time to sit and wait for 20 minutes for it - at least my iPhone iTunes sync was quick and efficient.
2. Kies does not synchronise my Outlook Notes - you don't even have a Samsung application. This is very annoying as I use MS Notes a great deal.
3. Kies gives a message needing access. With iTunes I added it under Control Panel/Windows Security/Windows Firewall/Exceptions and then everything went perfectly smooth. With Kies, adding Samsung Kies to the Exceptions in the same place makes absolutely no difference.
