Kies 3 does not Sync With Outlook

Hi

I was forced to upgrade my Kies to version 3. Now I cannot sync my MS Outlook to my phone. My S4 is a business tool the phone is now useless to me. If I was prewarned that this would have been the case I or given the choice to upgrade Kies it would have been great. Now I sit with a expensive piece of technology I cannot use.
