Kies has become a joke

Samsung, what has happened?
Until about a year ago, Samsung products and technology were unbelievable.
However recently everytime Samsung send down an update, specifically re Kies, it manages to up something.
The ability to sync the schedule from my Sony Vaio laptop with either my S4 or Galaxy 10.1 tab has degenerated to non existent.
Really Samsung I use your products because not only were they great, but your customer care was amazing. Now Samsung HQ no longer gives a. Customers are obviously a hinderance.
What a pity. There goes another great product the way of Motorola, Blackberry and Nokia.
