I have done extensive reading and research to try and get my Samsung TAB 2 GT-P5100 software updated. Im currently on version 4.0.4 and that seems like where I will stay forever cause Samsung just doesnt release any updates for clients. No they rather sell more devices with newer updated version of Android to the public. I have even downloaded and installed KIES from samsung to find a remedy for my problem but no KIES doesnt want to even update my tablet. I regret changing from my Apple device to android cause there is just no further updates for their hardware.
My keybord input at times are slow as well as changing between some screens. Aparantly these problems are solved with later versions of Android. The problem is there is no updates with KIES or even over the air via WI FI. Is this the way Samsung does business? I have always had the suspision that Korean products are poor quality and that support isnt great. Now I'm starting to see that this might be true. I dont see nearly as many complains about Apple or Sony products. If Samsung doesnt make a effort to introduce upgraded firmware for their hardware I will never buy Samsung again. So glad my other stuff inst from Samsung
