I got off the phone a few mins ago after speaking to the supervisor at Samsung south Africa, I was disappointed after disclosing my problem of a tablet that we are stuck with, which is water damaged. what happened to us was unfortunate, it could've happened to anyone, upon arriving at the beach we were hit by a wave and all our belongings got wet including 2 of my daughter's phones one being the tablet. becoz we could not open it due to the Samsung design & the fact that we were scared of forfeiting the warranty if we did try to open it, we had to stay 7 full days with it wet from inside, now as a reliable customer to Samsung not to mention that the Samsung products I have in my house are valued at R50 000 or more, Samsung is refusing to bend over backwards & help me. my argument is that we were unable to open the tablet thus leading it to stay all these days with water of which the parts started to corrode inside, one of their branches is asking for R5000 to repair it of which it will be better to buy a new one. unfortunately we are unable to leading me to approach Samsung asking for help & they totally refused. if only I was able to open it. it was not going to cost this much to
