Exceptionally Bad Service

Last Friday I was at the Menlyn iStore on launch day. Eagerly anticipating getting my hands on Apple's latest. I waited in the queue number 29 if I remember correctly.

Anyway eventually I made it to the front and I informed the sales lady that I would like an iPhone 5s 64gb Gold, on Cell C. Great she told me, our first Cell C customer she proclaimed to the rest of the sales team. I was excited, I'd definitely get a phone if I was the first person for my chosen network.

The joy was short lived, no stock. And to make matters worst they couldn't give me another handset as each one is apparently linked to the service provider. Anyway I was told that I should fill in the contract forms and leave my documentation there and I'd be contacted soon as stock was coming in daily from hereon.

It is now almost a week later and I have no feedback on my order, this is understandable given the popularity of the device but I was amongst the first 29 customers for that branch in a major city.

Also I've been in regular contact with the call centre regarding my order and I have had no luck, this is not Apple-quality customer service. Well done iStore Menlyn for being fantastically bad!
