First National Bank
Very poor service from FNB for defective iphone

Series of events
i received the device on friday @ 13:15
charged device for 2.5 hours
Put the device on
Contacted fnb to report that the home button does not work.
i was told that fnb would contact me on Monday and collect the device from me.
Since then, ive made numerous calls to find out what can be done.
the answers that i receive are...
1. The device needs to be sent to the apple store, they will then evaluate, and either repair or replace the device.
now in order to do this, i need to make an appointment with the istore and go there when they have an available time slot.
I would probably have to take a 1 full day or 0.5 days leave to have this done = my loss
2. Fnb can arrange for the device to be collected and eventually replaced, after the evaluation process. This could take /-14 days. = my loss.
I don't think that's its fair for me to go through all this for a device that I have NOT been able to use as yet.
I assume that there isn't anything that can be done about this (as ive been told numerous times).
Its Tuesday
I was called to say that my only option is to book the phone into istore.
i dont find the "how can we help you" motto being lived up to!!!
