I purchased a Samsung television set April 2012. Last month I was watching television and a black flashing block appeared in the right hand corner of the television and has just gotten worst with time.
I booked the television set into Liptronics in Cape Town.
Liptronics called me back with an initial quote of -R4800. I logged a complaint with Samsung SA and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Siyabonga Skhsana. I told him I cannot and will not pay that amount for a television which i assumed to be good quality product upon purchase.
He rang off an advised he will check what he can do for me. Liptronics then come back with a quote of R2300 and I still declined this quote as I do not see a reason for me paying this amount for a television set from a corporation like Samsung. I informed Siyabonga that i would like Samsung to provide me the panel and I would gladly pay for labor however he was unable to help me and escalated the query to Silvestre Gadlela who also wasn't able to assist which in return connected me to Itumeleng Mabunda.
This was last week and i have on several occasions followed up instead of Samsung coming back to me.
This is appalling customer service.
