Problematic Galaxy S3

My son has a Galaxy S3 since Jasnuary this year and from day 1, it has been giving us problems. I already had to pay to have it fixed on three occassions. Now it is giving problems again. I refuse to pay again to have it fixed and I don't see why we must be incionvenienced by going without a phone every time when it has to be sent for reapairs. When I buy a good product then I expect good service from it. It switches off everytime, then freezes, then things pop up on the screen or it just dies. My son needs a relaiable phone so that he can be in contact with me. I refuse a loan phone as well, again I don't see why we must be inconvenienced. And I cannot afford to pay to have his phone fixed every time. I have an old Nokia that has been working for many years and I don't ever have to fix it. I intended on buying myself a Galaxy S3 but I will never be able to afford all the repairs and at the rate that I am fixing my son's phone, I won't be able to afford another phone for myself. I always thought that Galaxy was better than other phones but it is not the case as I see with my son's phone, it is beyond frustrating now!! I am livid!!
