Faulty Samsung Galaxy S III

To whom it may concern,
Why is it that every time I purchase a Samsung phone, it only lasts 5 months? I'm currently on my 4th Samsung phone and yet again, their product has failed me. I bought the Galaxy S III about 4 months ago. The screen won't respond to touch. This is a major inconvenience because I now have a very stylish paper weight, seeing as how I can't do anything else with my phone. I have taken many precautions to insure that my phone is taken care of. I purchased a screen protector and the most durable phone cover that is available. I haven't dropped the phone once but apparently this is not enough to protect a sub-standard product.

Due to the contractual issues of the re-seller (FNB), I now have to find the time to get my phone fixed, myself. In the contract that was provided it say that I have to get into contact with Samsung to get it sorted. The phone is still under manufacturer guarantee.

Please point me in the right direction. I'm getting tired of hopping between websites and running my phone bill through the roof trying to resolve this problem. No one is getting back to me about this problem.
