Lack of firmware updates

This goes to Samsung HQ and is not an actual bad service experience. Rather this is connected to the lack of firmware updates for our region.

My Samsung S4 is glitchy and a master piece at the same time. The phones camera can take 3 seconds before opening, and sometimes causes phone reboot. The phone has battery drain problems that are not app related. The phone heats up becoming very hot.

Now, this is all software related and is fixed in the newest firmware updates that have been released in other countries in June., . The 2nd update fixed a lot of the problems and they now on 9... Thus I don't see why I have to sit with essentially a faulty (reboots) S4.

I would like an explanation as to why it takes so long to get the updates here. I have an unbranded S4 and have friends that have flashed (not legitimate) the new software from other regions and it works flawlessly so where is the problem if the software is already compatible with our networks and phones?

Of coarse if there is a reasonable explanation or fix. Then this complaint will turn into a compliment. Because my other Samsung experiences have been really good.
