3 weeks taken to get spare part for an AEG fridge

The fridge section of our AEG fridge broke down 3 weeks ago. We were orginally told the part had to come from Joburg and would take about a week. A week later we were told that the part was not in Joburg and would have to come from Germany. After another delay we were told that they had actually found the part in Joburg and hoped to have it here by the end of the week. I am not holding my breath! I will never buy another AEG appliance and I am advising family and friends to do the same. AEG should not sell domestic appliances in SA if they cannot support them. Last year we had to wait for 6 weeks for delivery of a new oven that we had ordered a month before. Can someone tell AEG South Africa that domestic appliances need to be repaired within 3 days for a family to remain functional! And tell them about couriers as well..
