Poor service and delayed repairs

I took my vacuum cleaner in to Claremont home appliances to be repaired at the beginning of October. After waiting a few days for the quote which I accepted I was told they had to wait for a part from Joburg which would be delivered the following week. When I called to ask about the progress I was told a different story everyday for another week. Finally the part came from within the Cape Town area and the vacuum cleaner was fixed, 3 weeks after I dropped it off! To make things worse, when I collected it they had lost the hose and pipe. They told me they would ask the technician the next day and drop it off at the house as our maid was there. After following up with them they eventually found a hose and promised to deliver it that day. They didn't deliver it and yet another excuse was made. When I then went in to fetch it I found that it wasn't our hose but another one that was lying around but at least it fit the machine! It took 3 and a half weeks to get my vacuum cleaner repaired and a lot of following up and complaining to even get it done in that amount of time! This level of service is completely unacceptable and I will never go there again or recommend them to anyone else.
