No spare parts

I bought an Electrolux oven and hob from Hirsch in Centurion a year ago. One of the hob switches is faulty and needs to be replaced. I have been trying for 6 weeks to get a new switch. I have tried my local electrical appliances shop, the Pretoria stockist of Electrolux spare parts and Hirsch's. I finally contacted Electrolux in Jhb on October 3. When I phoned them again 2 wks later on October 17, I was told that the part is 'out of stock' and would have to be ordered from Italy. It is now again 2 wks later. How long does it take to get spares from Italy? And how can Electrolux import and sell new model appliances if they don't stock spare parts?? I am thankfull that the other appliances in my new kitchen are Samsung and LG. I will NEVER recommend Electrolux appliances to anyone else!
