Poor workmanship and customer service

On 28 February 2013, BNV Appliances were called in to repair a 2-year-old fridge that was leaking (inside). When the repairmen were here, they mentioned that the fridge should be serviced once a year or so, which would then prevent this from happening again. The total cost was R945.

Two and a half months later, the fridge was leaking again, so I called BNV Appliances again to repair the fridge again. They came the next day, and just defrosted the back and then left. Within a week or so, the fridge was leaking again, but due to work and time constraints, I only called them again after about 3 weeks (10 June) to tell them the fridge was STILL leaking - the original problem had not been fixed and obviously the "service" had not serviced anything.

I was told that, since the 3 month guarantee after the original "repair" and "service" had passed, it was new job and I would have to pay again. Really? As far as I am concerned the fridge was never fixed in the first place? The R945 I paid has accomplished nothing.

Don't waste your time with this company. Their technicians are clearly incompetent and their customer service is appalling.
