I purchased a Samsung flat screen TV in march of 2011 . Quite early on after the purchase, the unit started playing up but with work commitments etc we never got the chance to take it in until it completely stopped working. Which conveniently was a few weeks after the warranty expired. So we called Samsung head office and they referred us to their repairs division calls Liptronics they collected it and three weeks later we still trying to get a response from them as to the way forward. The last communicatipn we had was two weeks ago they said the screen was completely gone and the matter had been escalated to Samsung. Since then i called Samsung they said no communication had been received from Liptronics, when I tried calling Liptronics again they either dont answer the phone or they cut me off. It a sad day when you have to resort to complaining on line in order to get some assistance, we thought we were buying a reputable brand but they just keep passing the buck.
