I reported my refrigerator to Samsung on the 21st of March 2013 which is more than 2 month ago. I had to contact the technicians (Pretoria Appliance) time and again to arrange when they are coming to fix it and every time the technician does not pitch up I would sit at home while I should be working using up my leave days waiting for the technician. After a month the technician managed to arrive for a consultation. He reported that the sensors on the refrigerator are faulty as well as the display unit needs to be replaced. 2 weeks later another technician from the same company arrives to fix it but with only the temp sensor and not the display unit as well. The refrigerator is still doing exactly the same as before and when he replaced the sensor he bent the evaporator which resulted that the whole refrigerator is making a of a noise. At the moment each component of the fridge is faulty. I requested that they send a different technician company but when the call centre requests it the other technician company do not arrive for the meeting (Prolad), sitting yet again using up my leave. I would never recommend a Samsung appliance as the after sale support are non-existent.
