I went to a samsung mobile store at Clearwater mall on Friday 24 May 2013 to buy a Samsung Galaxy note. My bank card was swiped twice by the seller, my cheque account was debited with an amount of R4299.99, but the speedpoint did not produce any receipt, I received an SMS from my bank to say that the above amount has been debited. Now because the speedpoint did not produce a slip, the seller refused to give the item i wanted to buy. The seller told me to go to my bank to see if the money has been taken from my account, so on Saturday I qued for at least at hour at the bank to get confirmation. I went back to the store with the bank confirmation, still they refused. So this morning I called my bank and they supplied me with an authorization code to give to Samsung so they can cancel the transaction, because the transaction is still pending, I gave the code to them this morning already and still they haven't sent it to the bank to cancel. So now I am sitting without the Galaxy note and my bank account showing amount of R4299.99 has been taken from my account. Should a customer go through this much effort? I don't want the Galaxy note anymore, I want my money back in my account.
