Back in June I desperately needed a testimonial simply showing that I was a student there as I was about to start a new job. After running around all over campus trying to get a hold of the HOD who had locked himself up in his office I was told to go to the faculty instead where this white young lady gave me attitude and said she cannot help me because they are on recess and that she does't even know who I am. I didn't get the job.
Before that, I had sent in a letter at the dept to cancel my studies and thought it was done and to my shock, I am still registered and found out from an old friend.
Now when I apply to Wits I have to produce a certificate of good standing and I know that I will come out frustrated and without what I need because I am still registered after I asked to be deregistered meaning I am obviously owing the university money I did not even study for. And they obviously will not grant me the certificate as according to them, I am not in good financial standing.
